We are in search of a highly motivated and committed Food Runner to become part of our upscale Italian restaurant, VENTUNO, soon to open its doors on the 21st floor of the Ruby-Emma Hotel in Amsterdam. As a Food Expediter, your role is pivotal in guaranteeing our guests enjoy a flawless dining experience. Responsibilities

- Organize and set up service zones, including the kitchen pass, ensuring essential supplies are in place.

- Transfer food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring precise and prompt delivery.

- Coordinate food preparation and delivery by communicating with kitchen personnel and servers.

- Keep service areas tidy and well-ordered, and clear tables when necessary.

- Address customer questions and accommodate special requests by offering recommendations and advice.

- Adhere to established health and safety procedures and protocols.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Food Runner or in a similar role at an upscale restaurant.

- Proficiency in working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.

- Outstanding organizational and communication abilities.

- Capability to handle and transport heavy trays and equipment.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate a bustling dining room.
